Senior Project Manager (Core Banking System) - PMO sector

Main Role:

  • Core Project manager helps to drive the organization’s strategy, align teams, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and deliver on multiple complex projects E.G. CBS.
  • Determine the scope and clear business\Technical objectives of the project and the critical success factors of implementation projects
  • Prepare and communicate Project Plan with the vendor, project team.
  • Manage project execution and ensure implementation is within the agreed SOW and timeframe
  • Plan, manage and maximize utilization of project resources.
  • Formulate, organize, coordinate & monitor cross-project activities.
  • Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities
  • Apply change, risk and resource management & Resolve projects scope issues
  • Prepare reports for the PMO director and to the project stakeholders.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a program manager for at least 2 Core banking solutions implementation - all project phases (Temenos T24 is highly recommended) Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar role delivering large/ complex enterprise software projects to the financial services industry.
  • University degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in managing IT-technical & digital transformation projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills & fluency in English (speaking and listening).
  • Strong financial and business acumen .
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite & Microsoft Projects.
  • The ability to deliver key milestones on time as planned.
  • The ability to earn the trust of the team, peers, and clients.
  • Strong character (confidence, working under pressure, team management).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification or equivalent is a plus.
